In exposed positions, stake/support the plants to prevent damage.
Achillea can be cut down to the ground in late winter, once birds have used the seed as a food source, the plants also add structure to the winter garden.
Plant can be divided in late autumn or early spring.
Achillea dies back each year in autumn, with fresh growth appearing in spring.
