When to Sow Paris Market Carrot Seeds
April to July

Where to Sow
Sow thinly in drills 1.5cm (3/4″) deep with 20cm (9″) between rows. Cover with fine soil and keep moist. Can also be sown February to March in a greenhouse or under cloches.

What to do Next
Carrot fly is attracted by thinning, so try to avoid. If necessary, thin in the evenings and remove all trace of debris from the growing site.

June to November

Handy Tip
Sow under cloches or cold frame for early crop. Use roots when young for best flavour. Perfect for growing in shallow tubs or troughs.
