Where to Sow Pacific Giant Delphinium Seeds
Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place at a temperature of between 10-15°C(50-59°F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination which can take 21-40 days.

What to do Next
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out 60cm (24”) apart in a sunny, sheltered site.

Handy Tip
In colder areas cover plants with compost to give some frost protection. A favourite of slugs and snails so protect if necessary.
