Description
Dahlia Avignon is striped with white and purple, with lighter purple speckles, it is sure to draw the eye to it’s huge blooms.
A great choice for the summer garden, and as it grows quite tall, is perfect for displaying at the back of a border.
Ideally plant in a sunny garden border, bed or patio pot in a sheltered position. When the plant is in full flower it can be cut for an excellent cut flower display. Height 65-70cm. Flowers June to September.

Plant in well draining soil. Plant after frost, Dahlias are not frost tolerant.
To ensure you can enjoy your plants in future years, and in areas where there is extreme cold, lift tubers and store in potting compost over the winter.
Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
